What enhancement can do

  • Use existing 2x or 4x upscaling to explore clearer edges and perceived texture.
  • Compare three current upscaling models using one uploaded image.

Enhancement limits

  • AI may infer detail that is absent from the source. Sharper-looking output is not proof of accurate restoration.
  • This workflow enlarges the image; it is not a same-size retouching or noise-removal editor.
  • Faces, small text, logos, and repeated patterns can change.

Review before using the result

  • Compare the source and output at the same display size.
  • Inspect faces, lettering, edges, and texture for invented detail.
  • Keep the original and choose the version that suits your intended use.

Run this workflow

Use the defaults as a starting point, then choose the model and settings that fit the actual image task.

Best for

  • Soft product-photo edges
  • Compressed design assets
  • Low-resolution illustrations
  • Images that need a clarity review before reuse

Execution flow

  1. 01

Upload the best source image you have.

  2. 02

Choose a model and 2x or 4x scale, then review its Credit cost before submitting.

  3. 03

Compare the result with the source at the same display size and inspect any inferred detail.

Task guidance

Clarity is different from accuracy

Use this page when your main question is whether an image can look clearer. Use Image Upscaler when choosing larger pixel dimensions is the main task.

Compare at equal size

A larger preview can look more detailed simply because it is larger. Compare equal display sizes to judge visible sharpness.

Look for artificial texture

Check halos, repeated patterns, skin, and tiny letters. New texture can look plausible without matching the original subject.

Choose a useful result

Keep the source. Reject exaggerated detail and use the output only where the visual change is acceptable.

Image enhancement FAQ

Does this recover the true missing detail?

No. AI may infer details absent from the source. Enhancement cannot guarantee accurate restoration of faces, text, or objects.

How is this different from Image Upscaler?

Both use the same existing upscale operation and models. This page focuses on evaluating clarity and sharpness; Image Upscaler focuses on 2x or 4x dimensions and resolution.

Can I enhance without enlarging?

Not in this workflow. The current controls use 2x or 4x upscaling. There is no separate same-size enhancement model or extra processing pass.
